Meet Medina
A professional couch potato with a very demanding cuddle schedule!
Medina is a sweet, affectionate girl who firmly believes that the best things in life aren't things at all - they're people, preferably people with working hands and plenty of time for pats! This lovable lady is a self-appointed cuddle connoisseur who has perfected the art of rolling over and making it very clear that the patting session is NOT over until the couch potato sings! She's generally a relaxed girl who enjoys her downtime, but don't mistake her love of lounging for laziness. Medina loves a good game, especially when her humans get involved. She's also clever and knows how to sit and is working on her drop. She's a little particular about her snacks and would much rather be paid in affection. A girl with standards after all…
Medina is looking for a family who appreciates the finer things in life - a comfy couch, quality time together and absolutely no shortage of cuddles. She's happiest when she's around people and would love a home where she can enjoy a good balance of interactive playtime and relaxation. While she's a people-loving cutie pie, she's not quite so enthusiastic about other dogs, so Medina must be the only dog in her new home. Her family will also need to advocate for her when dogs are around in public as they make her uncomfortable.
Medina is ready to take on the very important role of household cuddle supervisor, chief couch tester and full-time recipient of affection.

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
