Meet Beanie,
Beanie is a whole lot of personality packed into one rather conveniently sized silly little sausage! This lovable little goofball has a tail that operates at approximately a million wags per minute and a heart that simply cannot contain all the love he has to give. Beanie is an affectionate little fella who will happily squeeze himself into your lap, whether there's room for him or not. He's also a clever cookie who knows how to sit, loves his toys (alot) and has a healthy appreciation for treats. When he's not busy being everyone's favourite cuddle bug, he's generally a relaxed boy who knows how to settle himself. And with his playful, puppy-like approach to making friends, he's shown himself to be quite the social little butterfly around dogs of different shapes and sizes!
Of course, even the sweetest little snag has a few house rules, and Beanie's are mostly about dinner! He's very enthusiastic about his food, so he'll need a family who understands his boundaries and allows him to eat in peace. Children are welcome to meet him, although they'll need to be dog-savvy. Beanie can also be a little startled by unexpected surprises, but with some reassurance and time to investigate, he's shown he can find his brave side again. He's an easy-going, affectionate boy who could suit a range of homes, including those with other dogs following a successful introduction.
A little bit of wiggle, a whole lot of wobble and enough personality to fill a much bigger dog — Beanie is one hotdog who's ready to sizzle his way into your heart!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
