Meet Blake,
Blake is a curious boy with a busy little brain and a nose that likes to investigate everything! There's always something happening in Blake's world, and he'd hate to miss out on any of it. Blake already knows how to sit, although you might need to get his attention first - he's a busy man with important things to sniff after all! He also has a rather amusing approach to fetch. A moving ball is absolutely worth chasing, but a non-moving ball - boring! While unfamiliar things can occasionally catch him off guard, Blake has shown that with a little time and encouragement, he's quite capable of finding his brave side and investigating for himself.
Blake is looking for an experienced owner who understands that even the goodest of good boys have boundaries, for example mealtimes are particularly important to Blake; he'd like some space if possible. Blake is looking for someone patient, understanding and ready to help him navigate the world at his own pace. Give this curious boy the right guidance, a little breathing room and plenty of interesting things to sniff, and he'll have lots more adventures ahead of him!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
