About Kovu
Meet Kovu!
Kovu is a lovely young Maremma looking for a home that understands and appreciates his unique personality. While he can be a little unsure in new environments and may take some time to come out of his shell, Kovu is a sweet boy who is looking for patient, breed-savvy adopters to support him as he continues to build his confidence.
Kovu would be best suited to a rural or semi-rural home with adults or older teens who can provide him with the space, stability, and understanding he needs to thrive. He may also be able to live with another well matched dog, pending a successful meet and greet.
As a guardian breed, Kovu is looking for adopters who are familiar with the traits and needs of Maremmas and are willing to invest the time required to build a trusting relationship. In the right home, Kovu will blossom into a deeply loyal companion and a rewarding addition to the family.
