About Derek - 2 Year Old Mini Poodle
Derek is a sweet boy who can be a little shy at first, but his confidence is growing every day. He came from a home with 76 other dogs, so having another dog around isn’t just nice for him, it’s essential. He needs a confident friend of a similar size to show him the ropes.
He is toilet trained with a doggy door, so a home with a doggy door is important. He’s learning to walk on lead and enjoys taking things at his own pace. As a poodle, he will need regular grooming, and that ongoing care is part of the commitment.
With patience and a gentle home, Derek will reward his family with love, loyalty, and a steadily blossoming personality.

He is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW. His adoption fee is $800 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
