About Tank
Tank is a beautiful, affectionate young boy who wants to be friends with everybody. He adores people, loves a good pat, and is always up for a game. He can be a little wary of some men at first, but he warms up with a bit of patience. Tank actually thinks he's a rather larger than usual lap dog, and needs some convincing to the contrary!
Tank is house and crate trained and knows basic commands, though he does sometimes believe obedience is optional! 😂 Tank is food-motivated, which makes training easier, and he walks nicely on the lead most of the time. With some formal obedience classes or training and a consistent routine with boundaries at home, we are sure this sometimes stubborn goofball will blossom into a wonderful family addition.
Tank loves car rides and simply being with his human. He is curious and inquisitive, and that curiosity can sometimes override his recall, but reward-based training will help with this. He hasn’t had many life experiences yet, so he’ll need a patient owner to guide him through new things.
With his energy level, Tank is probably not the best fit for a home with very young children, but older kids who want an active play pal should be fine. He would thrive with another energetic dog in the home to play with, so could be a great option as your second doggo.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will give you unconditional love, Tank is your boy!
