About George
Meet George,
He is a young cat who is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can build confidence at his own pace. While he may be a little underconfident when faced with new people, places, or experiences, with patience and gentle encouragement he is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
He will need gradual introductions to new spaces within the home, allowing him time to explore and settle in comfortably. Interactions should be kept calm and positive, letting him approach for attention when he feels ready.
This sweet cat would be best suited to a home with adults or secondary school-aged children and adults who can understand and respect George's need for space while he gains confidence.
With a patient family willing to take things slowly, this young cat has all the potential to become a loving and rewarding companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
