Nyx is a joyful playful pup.
She loves sleepy cuddles with her humans and loves playing with her toys.
She is happy enough to play with her toys outside on her own and has been left at home for short periods of time with no issues – she loves a licky mat and treats to keep her occupied.
Nyx sleeps overnight in her crate and is very quiet. She can last about 8 hours in the crate before she thinks it is time for everyone to get up. She is working on her overnight toilet training – but has access to puppy pee mats and uses these when needed.
She currently lives with a large staghound who is quite dominant – she takes correction well from her doggy companion.
As she is a puppy she is still in that teething, chewing stage – so it is important that her new family recognise this and give her puppy appropriate things to sink her teeth into.
Nyx has learned to sit for her dinner and is working on her leash training.
She can be a bit nervous initially out in the big wide world but gets her confidence quickly.
The perfect family for Nyx would be one that has time to do some training with her to make her the best puppy she can be.
A mentor dog to guide her through life would be desirable but not essential.
Nyx is $450 + $100 desex bond* to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
*Desex bond will be refunded once pup is desexed at one of our nominated vets at the appropriate age. It is a non-negotiable condition of adoption that pups are desexed prior to 8 months of age, unless otherwise approved by NQAR. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, as long as it is done at one of our nominated vets.
