About Layelle
Meet Layelle! She's a gentle, sweet-natured girl who's ready for a new beginning. Having had a rough start in life, Layelle can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and gentle interactions, she soon begins to relax and show her true personality. Once comfortable, Layelle is an affectionate companion who enjoys quality time to form special bonds with those she trusts. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, as she has so much love to give. Layelle also enjoys tasty treats and enrichment activities, especially anything involving interesting scents to explore! These positive experiences help bring out her curious side and will continue to build her confidence. Despite her past, Layelle has settled well into the shelter environment and has shown herself to be resilient and adaptable. Layelle may be best suited to a calm adult household, though she could also do well with cat-savvy teenage children who understand when she needs a little time and space to settle in.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
