Sonny

Meet Sonny 💙
8-month-old male | Grey domestic cat | Indoor-only home

Sweet little Sonny is looking for a calm, quiet home and some special humans to help him find his smile again. 🐾

Sonny came into our care at Wat Djerring Animal Facility with no signs of ownership, and he's finding the shelter environment a little overwhelming. At the moment, this shy little man spends his days hiding, wishing for a safe place where he can feel comfortable and secure.

Sonny is a little scared right now, but he can be handled gently. We believe he just needs some extra time, patience and understanding to settle in and discover that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

His ideal home would be a quiet, adult-only household where he can take things at his own pace. As an indoor-only boy, Sonny will need a safe indoor environment where he can retreat to his favourite hiding spots, watch the world go by and slowly build his confidence.

Sonny may not be the kind of cat who rushes up to greet you straight away, but sometimes the most beautiful friendships are the ones that take a little time to grow. With a gentle approach, a peaceful space and lots of love, this sweet boy has the chance to blossom into the affectionate companion he's waiting to be.

And who knows? Give him the time he needs, and you may just discover a little snuggle bug hiding beneath that nervous exterior. ❤️

Could you be Sonny's safe place?

If you have a quiet home, a kind heart and the patience to let a shy little soul come out of his shell, Sonny would love the chance to meet you. He doesn't need you to fix everything overnight - he just needs someone willing to believe in him.

Please consider giving Sonny the fresh start he deserves. 🏡💙
