Louie

Louie is an 11-month-old Smithfield with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome young boy is incredibly friendly, loves being around people, and is always ready for a cuddle. If you're looking for a loyal companion who enjoys affection and being part of the family, Louie could be the perfect match.

As a young dog, Louie is still learning and will benefit from ongoing training and guidance. He already knows some basic commands, including sit and stay, and has shown that he is eager to learn when given the time and consistency he needs. Due to his age and energy levels, Louie would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, enrichment, and quality time with his people.

Louie would be best suited to owners who have experience with working breeds and understand their physical and mental stimulation requirements. With the right environment, he has all the potential to grow into a wonderful and well-rounded companion.

At the shelter, Louie has tested well with other dogs and could happily share his home with another canine friend. Because he can sometimes be a little jumpy and enthusiastic, we feel he would be best matched with a dog of a similar size. Louie has also been around cats and horses.
