This young man walks like a boss, knowing he's got the looks and personality to charm his way into your heart. Chase is a very chill and quiet dog, non reactive to other barking dogs, walks reasonably well on the lead with recall going well if he knows it means he gets pats when he comes back.

Let's talk about pats. This boy lives for pats, attention and a life of luxury so much so, he sometimes forgets where your body stops and his begins. Boundaries are something he is learning and once yours have been established, he is super happy to chill at your feet, as long as there is a pat reward in there somewhere. For this reason only, he probably isn't suited to a house with small people.

Training is easy with this boy, because he is so pat motivated. His sit is to perfection (pat), toilet training has been successful (pat). Continued positive reinforced toilet training (lots of pats) will see zero indoor accidents. If you're someone who loves cuddles with your dog on couches or beds, Chase is your boy. While he is learning that furniture is for humans, he loves nothing more than being your big cuddle bear.

With medium energy levels, a chew toy and a walk each day keeps him happy. He currently lives in a home with another foster and loves the afternoon and early morning play. He loves his people around, so a home where he will spend long hours alone may not be suitable or he will come look for you.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

With long back legs, Chase has no problem clearing a 4-5 foot fence with grace and ease. But in true Chase style, he will clear it just as easily to come back and wait at the door for pats.

Handsome boy Chase is a well rounded dog who would suit a home with or without other dogs.

Chase is $400 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, HW tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
