About Sprout
Hi there, I’m Sprout—a two-year-old that doesn't crave loud chaos; I’m the kind of dog who brightens when a calm routine unfolds and a kind voice invites me to explore a little more each day. I have a quiet confidence and a hopeful wag that grows braver with each small, loving moment I share with you. I’m thoughtful and a touch selective with other dogs. When I’m relaxed and safe, I move at my own pace, and I like my space respected. In new settings I may take time and encouragement to settle, but with patient introductions I can gather information and decide who deserves a little sniff. I’d thrive in a quiet, calm home with an experienced owner who can read my signals and help me feel secure. I need a secure outdoor access point—a solid fence is essential—and a routine that minimizes stress as I continue to settle. If there’s another dog in the home, feeding needs to be managed separately and multiple resources—beds, bowls, and spots to retreat—should be available to reduce tension. I’m open to the idea of sharing a space with a canine companion after careful introductions, but high-traffic dog parks and off-leash crowds aren’t my scene. If you can offer a calm, steady home and a little extra time for me to come into my own, I’d love to meet you. Please come say hello and see if we’re a good match.
