🪶🐞 MEET CHIEF 🐞🪶

Nature
Hi, I’m Chief, and my nature is a beautiful mix of an independent survivor and a future cuddle bug. Right now, I’m observant and like to take my time assessing new situations, but I’m a total softie at heart. I naturally want to connect with people, using my voice to chat and my big cheeks to lean into affection once I know you’re a friend.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Because I was found as a stray, my past history with other pets and children is a mystery.

I’m currently still integrating into home life, and because I’m on the sensitive side, a home with older, respectful children or a calm, slow introduction to laid-back resident pets would be best.

With patient, gradual introductions, I have the potential to adapt well to the right companions.

Likes / Dislikes
When it comes to my likes, I’m all about the simple pleasures! I’m a foodie who enjoys both wet and dry food. If you want to fast-track your way to my heart, a good scratching session around my ears and big cheeks will have me melting.

My dislikes mostly stem from my time on the streets. I’m not a fan of loud, sudden noises or fast movement, which can still make me a bit nervous. I also dislike being rushed into new situations and prefer a patient approach while I continue integrating into indoor life.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm, predictable sanctuary where I can fully shed my street-cat worries. I have a gooey centre waiting to be cracked open with the right, patient and loving person or family. Give me time, patience and love, and I’ll show you the softie hiding underneath.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
