NAME: Tootsy

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound

PERSONALITY: Shy initially but once she’s comfortable she’s affectionate and loving.

FAVOURITE THINGS: Tootsy loves to play with anything that moves but especially loves toy balls that she can throw around. She enjoys being stroked but does get over stimulated which her new owner will need to be mindful of. She is slowly getting used to being picked up for cuddles.

OTHER ANIMALS: She’s currently fostered in a multi-cat household but can be bossy with the more timid cats and will chase them. Subsequently we would like her to be the only cat in her new home so she can have all the love and attention. She hasn’t met any dogs as yet but is used to seeing a dog outside her cat run so may be happy to live with a calm, cat friendly dog if given slow and careful introductions.

GENERAL INFO: Tootsy is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. She’s flea and worm treated, litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Tootsy:

** A loving home where she’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. She would go well with gentle older children who will engage gently but also be able to recognise when she’s had enough of their attention and be able to give her space.

** Tootsy needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $380
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
