🐶❤️ MEET NIA – OUR BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN GIRL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐶

Nia is a beautiful 25kg Golden Retriever girl with the most gorgeous nature and a heart full of love.

Calm, placid and incredibly affectionate, Nia may be a little shy when meeting new faces in an unfamiliar environment. But once she warms up to you, she will show you just how loving she truly is. Her sweet face and those soulful eyes will have you falling head over heels in love with her!

Nia is an intelligent and loyal girl who loves people and gets along wonderfully with other canine friends. She has a playful side and enjoys running around and having fun, but she is also a wonderfully chilled girl who is happy to relax by your side.

More than anything, Nia loves being around people, receiving pats, cuddles and attention. She is a gentle soul with so much love to give, and she isn’t bothered by cats either.

As Nia enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with them, we would love to find her a home with another gentle, like-minded dog of a similar age. Having a canine companion to share her days with would be lovely for her.

Nia isn’t underweight, but she is currently on the slimmer side and would benefit from gaining another couple of kilograms. Thankfully, she loves her food, so helping her reach a healthy weight shouldn’t be too difficult!

She is currently enjoying:
🐾 Royal Canin kibbles
🐾 Raw chicken necks
🐾 Healthy home-cooked meals
🐾 Occasional raw meat

As a Golden Retriever, Nia will need regular brushing to help manage shedding, along with professional grooming every 5–6 weeks.

Although she has a calm and easygoing nature, Nia will still need regular walks, exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy, healthy and fulfilled.

Nia would make a wonderful family companion. She is loving, gentle, intelligent and loyal, and she deserves a family who will cherish her, appreciate her beautiful nature and make her feel truly loved.

We are hoping to find Nia a home where she can enjoy the companionship of another friendly dog, receive plenty of love and attention, and finally experience what it means to be a cherished family member.

* Ages of all household members
* Occupations of household members
* Whether you own or rent your home
***Please also provide some photos of your home, including the areas where Nia will spend her time and the backyard/outdoor area.

4. Do you currently have any other animals living with you?
If so, please provide details about each animal, including their species, age, breed and personality, and how they generally interact with other animals.

5. Do you have previous experience with Nia’s breed? If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give Nia the time, patience and support she needs to settle into her new home?

7. How many hours will Nia be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for her during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with her?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide Nia with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout her lifetime?

9. Will Nia be considered as a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where Nia will sleep and how he will be accommodated overnight.

10. If your circumstances change in the future and you are no longer able to care for Nia, do you agree to contact PFPRI and seek our assistance before making any arrangements to surrender, re-home her?
