About Lucy
Lucy- Quiet, Sensitive & Growing Confidence :)
Meet Lucy, our gorgeous quiet soul; with a harsher start to life, Lucy can be a "slow burn" when it comes to trusting new people! But with patience and zen energy, she is an absolute doll to be around. When Lucy first joined us at the Bundy Shelter, she was badly underweight, but with time and excellent care she is in good shape now. Ms Lucy-Goosey can be initially wary of new people, but once trust is built and Lucy forms a connection with you, she will be your shadow!
What Lucy Needs:
Lucy is very green to being on a harness and lead- Getting her into the habit of going for walks will take time, and you absolutely need patience.
Daily physical and mental enrichment to help keep her mind active and encourage more confidence to bloom throughout.
A prospective adopter requires patience and understanding of an initially cautious doggo- Lucy needs a little extra TLC to start with
Where She's at now:
Lucy has come a long way since being in our shelter. But is still learning to trust people 110%... Going from not wanting to be touched or even looked at, to coming up for a small tickle is a massive achievement! Lucy responds gorgeously to positive reinforcement, loves food enrichment toys and gentle encouragement/handling.
Why choose Lucy?
She is quiet, a little shy but a total lovebug once she trusts you! She is still growing her confidence to not be scared of the world but has a heart of complete golden good girl! Lucy is waiting for her special someone or people to cherish her and give her the love she deserves and more!
