About Misty
Hi, I'm Misty!
I'm about 20kg of love, and I'm looking for a family to call my own. I'm a girl who enjoys the simple things in life. A good cuddle, a run around the garden, a sunny spot to lie in. Honestly, it doesn't take much to make me happy.
I'm quite the cuddle bug and love spending time with my people. If you're heading outside, I'll happily come along and explore the garden with you. If you're going for a drive, I'd love to be your passenger. I enjoy car rides, so there's no need to leave me behind on every adventure.
At bedtime, I'm pretty good at settling down in my crate. Although, I do sometimes wonder why I should sleep inside it when the top of the crate does seems like a perfectly good alternative. You've got to admit, I've got a point!
When I'm playing and having fun, I can get a little chatty. I just get excited and sometimes need to let everyone know how much I'm enjoying myself. My foster family has also realised I can get along with other dogs, but will need a slow and steady introduction, as sometimes I get a little dominant during play.
I'm ready for a home where I can be part of the family, share plenty of cuddles and enjoy all those everyday moments that make life good. I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to find my people.
Could you be the one I've been waiting for?
Love,
Misty

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
