About Piper
Piper is a lively, loving boy, he sits on command, will offer his paw, he now plays fetch the ball, but sometimes will be reluctant to drop the ball, so needs his verbal command.
He is fully house trained & has not had any accidents.
He is a good sleeper through the night, up to 10 hours & doesn't nap in the day.
He loves his food, but doesn't do well on any grains including rice, he becomes hyperactive & stops listening/concentrating.
Piper is fed twice daily. 8am & 5pm is his current routine.
He hasn't had much practice on a lead, but has taken to it quite well.
He doesn't dig holes & is not destructive unless he finds a tissue or box of tissues.
He does like to collect shoes but doesn't chew them just puts them near him.
He likes his face to be trimmed & sits patiently. He allows his teeth to be cleaned with ease.
He is great with other dogs, but does jump & play in a lively manner, so small dogs might not appreciate it.
Piper has spent the last 3 months with a female miniature Cavoodle & a male miniature Poodle, he is very caring with the smaller dogs, can get a bit lively with the male miniature Poodle.
Piper has shown he is very empathetic when the other dogs are unwell or injured.
He has smooched with cats through cages & doesn't bother with the chickens, but loves to run at the Magpies & bark when they are on the ground.
He loves children, but will have to be remined to not jump up, as he gets very excited.
Piper gets very attached with his human & reacts well to both males & females, he might not do well if left alone for long periods, but with another dog buddy he will be fine.
