Mr McPersimmons, affectionately known as Pickle, was rescued as a kitten after being found living as part of a street colony. He arrived in care a very frightened little boy, but with time, patience and security, he has blossomed into a gentle, happy young cat. His transformation has been wonderful to watch, and he's now ready to find a forever home where he can continue to thrive.

At eight months old as at 18 October 2026, Pickle is a gorgeous Domestic Medium Hair with a striped grey and brown tabby coat, a lovely white chest and paws, and a gloriously fluffy tail. He's affectionate, alert, curious, precious, quiet, gentle, good-natured, snuggly, soft, sweet and willing. This gentle boy has a heart of gold and a lovely way of enjoying the world around him. He's grown in confidence during his time in care and loves spending time with both his humans and his feline foster friends.

Pickle would thrive in a calm, loving home with patient people who understand that he may be shy when first settling in. He needs time to feel safe and build trust, but the sweet companion waiting underneath that initial shyness is well worth the wait. He gets along with other cats and would benefit from having a confident, friendly animal companion to help him feel at home. This could be another cat, a cat-friendly dog or even a suitable rabbit, with careful introductions and appropriate supervision. He would suit a home with children over 12 years old, and his compatibility with dogs is selective.

Once Pickle feels comfortable, his lovely personality really shines. He adores his food, exploring his surroundings, enjoying playtime, watching birds through the windows and finding a sunny spot to stretch out in. Strangers and loud noises can still make him feel unsure, so he'll appreciate a peaceful environment where he can retreat when he needs to. His foster family has loved watching him grow from a terrified kitten into a confident and happy boy, and he's become a firm favourite! To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated.
NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
