Hi, I'm Parsnip!
I was a dog in a previous life, I'm sure of it. I meow at you to play. I follow you around adoringly. I flop over dramatically to demand cuddles. And when I'm feeling really loving, I'll headbutt you enthusiastically. I don't seem to know how big I am, and I've decided not to worry about it!
I LOVE toys. I love anything that moves. Ribbons, mice, balls, other cat's tails; I'll chase them all. I also love birdwatching, hopping into boxes and bags, and standing up on my back legs to make an important point.
I'm currently at a shelter with my best friend Phineas. Phineas is the brave one, and I trail along behind him working up the courage to try new things. We would love to stay together if you have room for two, but I'm also brave enough now to go out on my own!
New people can send me under the bedspread for a bit, but I came a long way in foster care. I'll now happily come out into a room without Phineas, and I slept in my foster family's arms at night. I'd suit a home with teenagers or adults who understand that I need to meet people on my own terms.
Despite my grumpy little old man face, I'm a sweet, chatty boy. I'm looking for a new foster home or a forever home where I can continue learning that the world is safe and fun! Could that be with you?

1. Fill Out Our Form
Enter as much information as possible so we can match the right animal to your needs and expectations, choose a form below that relates to either cat or dog.
2. Email & Phone Interview
A Beagle Freedom representative will assess and reply to your application via email, a phone interview and meeting will be arranged if all goes well.
3. House Check & Introductions
We bring the beagle to your home to meet your family and pets and to check the suitability of the fencing.
4. Trial Period & Final Adoption
If all goes well, we leave the beagle with you on a trial period. If the trial goes well and everyone is happy – in particular, the animals, then we process the paperwork and transfer ownership to you.
