Meet Axel

Axel is a true gentleman with a sweet, affectionate nature and a calm outlook on life. This handsome older boy is looking for a family who will include him in their day-to-day activities and welcome him indoors, where he can enjoy being close to his people and continue building strong bonds.

As he adjusts to a new home, Axel would thrive with adopters who are home more often than not. A little patience and reassurance will help him settle comfortably into family life.

Axel would suit a variety of households and could live with respectful children aged 12 years and older who understand his boundaries, as he does not enjoy excessive handling. He loves nothing more than playing with his squeaky toys and spending time with those he loves.

He may enjoy sharing his home with another friendly, social dog, particularly one of a similar size, and any resident dog must meet him before adoption. Axel has not been tested with cats.

His beautiful coat will require daily brushing and regular grooming appointments to prevent matting. With plenty of love, companionship, and care, Axel will make a wonderful and loyal best friend. Secure and solid fencing is required with no lower gaps to keep him safe.
