About Charles
Meet Charles, a lovely large and in charge gentleman looking for a calm, patient and loving home where he can continue to build his confidence. Whilst he his outgoing and affectionate, he can sometimes be nervous when settling into new environments, so he will benefit from a safe, quiet space where he can relax and adjust at his own pace. Positive reinforcement, especially high-value treats, will help Charles feel comfortable and encourage his confidence in a new home. His adopters will need to understand canine body language and give him the time and space he needs. Charles is best suited as the only pet in the household, allowing him to enjoy a calm and predictable routine. With the right home, gentle guidance and lots of encouragement, Charles will have the opportunity to feel safe, confident and truly settled.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
