🧡 Meet Orlando – The Ginger Gentleman Who Just Wants to Be Loved! 🐾
From surviving on the streets to dreaming of a forever home… Orlando has so much love to give! 🥹❤️
Orlando was rescued from a local street cat colony, originally just to be desexed and returned. But when he arrived at the vet, severe bite wounds from a fight were discovered, and he needed surgery. 💔
He was brought into foster care to recover, and that's when we discovered something truly special…
Underneath his tough street-cat exterior was the most incredibly gentle, affectionate and loving little soul! 🥰
We immediately knew this beautiful boy deserved a chance at a forever home rather than returning to life on the streets.
🧡 A Little Ginger Purring Machine!
🐾 A devoted lap cat: Orlando absolutely adores cuddles, strokes and curling up on your lap.
😘 The sweetest affection: He gives adorable little nose kisses, gently makes biscuits with his paws and loves being close to his humans.
🎶 A purring machine: His little motor rarely stops, especially when he's receiving affection!
🍽️ A happy little foodie: Orlando loves his meals and starts purring the moment his favourite food arrives.
🧶 A playful personality: He's also showing a lovely playful side, and we can't wait to see more of his personality blossom in a home of his own.
Orlando is estimated to be around 4–5 years old, although he could be younger, as life on the streets can make cats appear older than they are.
🏡 His Dream Home
Orlando would be perfect for someone looking for an affectionate, devoted companion who loves human company.
After everything he's been through, he deserves a safe, loving indoor home where he can spend his days enjoying cuddles, delicious meals and plenty of lap time. ❤️
🩺 Health & FIV Status
Orlando has been:
✅ Desexed
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Flea and worm treated
✅ Treated surgically for his injuries
Orlando has also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).
Please don't let those three little letters put you off this wonderful boy! 🧡
Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy and healthy lives with good nutrition, regular veterinary care and a safe indoor environment.
FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs and is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds during serious fights, not through everyday affectionate contact such as cuddling or grooming.
FIV-positive cats can sometimes live peacefully with FIV-negative cats when they're compatible and don't fight. However, we'd ideally love Orlando to find a home as an only cat, or potentially with another friendly FIV-positive cat, following careful introductions.
❤️ Could You Be Orlando's Happy Ending?
Orlando has survived life on the streets, painful injuries and more hardship than any cat deserves. Yet somehow, he's remained the most wonderfully affectionate little boy.
All he wants now is a warm lap, a loving human and a forever home to call his own. 🥹🧡
