About Marty - 8 Week Old Cattle Dog X
Marty is a tiny bundle of curious energy and cuddly charm. He is in that adorable stage where he bounces instead of walks, tumbles instead of trots, and is still figuring out where those big paws go. He’s playful, curious, and delightfully clumsy, happy to romp around and then settle into a cozy snooze. With those big feet and working-dog smarts, he’ll likely grow into a large, capable dog.
Because he is a working-dog mix, he will thrive with people who understand working breeds and can keep him stimulated with training, play, and little jobs. With the right guidance and plenty of love, Marty will grow into a loyal, clever companion ready for any adventure.
After coming from a very large litter Marty needs someone home most of the time and would like a doggy friend for company.
Toilet training is a work in progress as he is learning the doggy door. He sleeps with his foster sibling on a doggy bed.

His adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
He is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
