About Dotty - 10 Week Old Cattle Dog X Staffy
Meet Dotty, the cutest little ball of energy, just waiting to be your best friend. She is a Cattle Dog/Staffy cross 10 weeks old and loves to play and cuddle.
About Dotty
Dotty is a very active and inquisitive little soul who loves to explore, independently or in the company of her humans. She loves cuddles and snuggling after playtime. Dotty has been coming to work at a home-based business where she has enjoyed meeting a diverse range of people, loving the attention and "doggy massages"(petting). She loves the indoors but has been exposed to independent outdoor-time and is able to entertain herself for reasonable periods of time. She loves her soft toys which have been useful during the expected puppy mouthiness phase.
She is making progress on fetching, sits on command, is learning to turn around and comes when called. She sleeps in her crate sleeps through the night and does most of her business outside but sometimes still needs prompting (the stairs and her small bladder don't always agree).
Her foster family will be sad to see her go as she is such a little bringer of joy. Her foster parents have kept in contact with the other foster carers who report that her siblings are getting along great with children and other animals. Dotty loves listening to the barking in the neighbourhood but shows no signs of distress and doesn't join in.
Her Ideal Home
Dotty will thrive in a loving home that can help her build confidence as she grows. Her future family should enjoy an active lifestyle — as she matures, she’ll love walks, hikes, and mental challenges to keep that clever Cattle dog brain busy.
The Important Stuff
• Will grow to be a medium-size dog
• Suitable for children 8 years and older
• Needs secure fencing (no rural mesh or wire fencing)
• Must be welcome inside when people are home and sleep inside until fully grown
• Puppy training classes are strongly recommended
Dotty’s siblings — Bluey, Bingo and Mango — are also available for adoption.
Dotty is ready for a lifetime of love and devotion. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion to grow with your family, she might just be your perfect match.
Dotty's adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Dotty is in foster care in Gwandalan, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook ) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
