About Crank - 11 Month Old Dachshund X Staffy
Available for adoption - Crank Dachshund X Staffy (Daffy) 11 months old.
This handsome young boy is happiest when he's with his people. Whether he's curling up beside you on the couch, following you from room to room, or climbing into your lap for a cuddle, Crank loves being involved in whatever his humans are doing. He's a very people-oriented dog who thrives on companionship and affection.
Crank sleeps soundly in his crate all night and is an easy-going boy to have around the home. When it comes to mealtimes, he's certainly not fussy and enjoys his food with enthusiasm.
Out and about, Crank is a keen explorer who loves a good "sniffari" walk, taking in all the sights and smells at his own pace. While some dogs dream of toy boxes, Crank's treasure of choice is a stick. Give him one to carry, chew, or chase, and he's a happy boy.
Crank is dog-friendly and could happily live with another canine companion, but he doesn't need a doggy playmate to be happy. He would be just as content as the only dog in a home where his people are around often. He's also cat-friendly, but he is not suitable for homes with birds or chickens.
Due to his young and enthusiastic nature, we would recommend a home with children aged five years and over.
Crank is a loyal, loving little shadow looking for a family to call his own. If you're searching for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Crank may just be your perfect match. ❤️

Crank is in foster care in Fletcher, Newcastle, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $800. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
