Jazz is a friendly, chatty, affectionate boy with a big heart and an even bigger love of cuddles! He’s a total smooch who happily welcomes pats from every direction and will even stand up to boop your hand when he thinks he deserves a little extra love.
After a rough start that saw him travel all the way from a regional pound, Jazz is settling beautifully into foster care and showing us what a sweet, loving boy he really is. He’s ready to put his past behind him and find a forever family who will give him all the love, patience and head boops he deserves.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Jazz is currently living his best foster life with two adults, but he’s had some experience being around other cats and has even been spotted sharing a friendly nose boop! With slow introductions, he may be open to a feline friend.

Jazz appreciates a little space and patience while he finds his paws in a new environment, so a home that lets him settle in at his own pace will help him shine. Once he’s comfortable and feeling secure, we think he could make a lovely companion for a family with respectful children who understand that good friendships take time.

• Cuddling up to his humans and being close to the action.
• His favourite love language: FOOD! Wet or dry, he’s not fussy.
• Calm evenings curled up on the sofa or bed, enjoying the simple things in life.
• Giving your hand a little boop when he’s asking for extra affection. 🐾

🙅 Dislikes
• Being rushed or having his path blocked when he’s feeling anxious — Jazz appreciates a little space to find his paws.
• Dirty litter trays. A clean loo is a must for this gentleman!
• Big changes all at once. He needs a little patience and time to settle into new surroundings.
• Not getting enough love… at least, that’s what his enthusiastic hand boops would have us believe! 🧡

My PURR-fect home would be a loving, patient home where I can settle in at my own pace and let my affectionate personality shine. My ideal humans will have plenty of love to give, enjoy a good sofa snuggle and understand that even the smoochiest cats need a little time to feel safe in new surroundings. A calm, predictable environment with clean litter trays, cosy spots to curl up and humans who respect my space would be just the ticket!

Medical Notes: Jazz has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Jazz will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
