About Peanut
Meet Peanut! 🥜
Meet Peanut, the big brother to Almond and Walnut and the only boy in the Mixed Nut litter. Be sure to check out his sisters' profiles for more details about Almond and Walnut if your looking for twice the fun.
As the only male, Peanut takes his big brother responsibilities very seriously. He keeps a close eye on his sisters, makes sure they are behaving themselves and generally considers himself the boss of the household.
Peanut is also very proud of his smart tiger-striped tabby coat. Long hair, he says, is definitely for the girl cats — he's far too busy being handsome and playing!
And when it comes to playtime, there is one thing that Peanut absolutely adores — BALLS!
Hard balls, soft balls, big balls, little balls… Peanut doesn't discriminate. He can happily chase and bat balls around for hours and his paw work would have to be on par with some of the best soccer players in the world. When he's finally exhausted from all that training, Peanut is more than happy to curl up in a cosy spot for a well-earned nap where he presumably dreams about his next big ball game!
Peanut is a typical male kitten — playful, cheeky, curious and full of personality. He's an all-round lovely boy who would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. He has experience with dogs so a feline friendly dog wuld be fine to share his home.
If you would like to meet Peanut with a view to adoption, please complete the pre-adoption application under his profile on the AWL NSW website. If your application is a match for Peanut, one of our volunteers will contact you to arrange a meet & greet.
📍 Peanut is in foster care in Kellyville with the Western Suburbs Branch.
And if Peanut has stolen your heart, don't forget to check out the profiles for his sisters Almond and Walnut too!
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
