About Rascal
At 11 years and 9 months of age, Rascal is proof that age is just a number. In fact, you'd be forgiven for thinking he was much younger! This handsome gentleman still has a youthful appearance and plenty of love left to give. After spending many years with his original owner, Rascal was sadly surrendered when they were no longer able to provide the care he deserved. Now, he's hoping to find a loving retirement home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort and affection.
Rascal is a sweet and deserving cat who has handled all of life's recent changes with grace. While finding himself in a shelter wasn't part of his plan, he has shown us what a lovely companion he is and how ready he is to start his next chapter with a new family.
As with many senior cats, there are a few medical considerations that adopters should be aware of, but thankfully nothing serious. Rascal recently had a sore tooth removed by our veterinary team and is recovering well. He is also carrying a little extra weight, though this is a very minor concern and something that can be managed with the right diet and a little encouragement to stay active. In truth, for a cat of Rascal's age, he's doing remarkably well.
What Rascal wants most isn't medical treatment or special care. It's a warm bed, a sunny spot by the window, and someone to love him. He deserves a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and secure for the rest of his days.
Senior cats have so much to offer. They often come with calm temperaments, established personalities, and a deep appreciation for the simple comforts in life. Rascal is ready to repay kindness and compassion with years of loyal companionship, gentle affection, and quiet company.
If you've been considering opening your heart and home to a cat in need, please consider Rascal. He's already given so much love throughout his life and now deserves a family who will give that same love back. Help us make sure Rascal's next chapter is his very best one.
