Adoption information
About Molly Bear
Molly Bear is a female short-haired cat available for adoption in Greystanes (Sydney, New South Wales).
Molly Bear is a little superstar who loves attention and gives plenty back. Playful, cheeky and gentle, she's extremely loving and trusting once she knows who you are.
She's active enough to race through the cat tunnels and chase a ball across the room, and gentle enough to settle in for pats, especially on the tip of her nose.
A little about Molly Bear:
🐾 Loves a game of ball: throw it and she'll chase it and hit it back to you
🐾 Adores pats on the tip of her nose
🐾 Big fan of the cat tunnels and a good run through them
🐾 Loves her cat friends and curls up with them to sleep
🐾 Follows you around after a pat, asking for more love
Molly Bear's days have a cosy shape. She starts with breakfast and a stretch, then follows the other cats to the back door to watch the world from a safe spot indoors.
After a satisfied wash of her paws, she settles in for a long nap. When she wakes it's back to the tunnels and the cat balls, with whoever is up for a game.
Her affection is specific and deliberate. A rub against your leg. A purr. Kisses, once she trusts you. A jump up beside you when she wants more love.
With new people, Molly Bear keeps a little distance without running off, and she engages in her own time. At the vet she was a star during her vaccinations. Give her space and you'll find she comes to you.
She prefers adult company and does best in a calm household, with someone home more often than not.
Her chilled indoor life is where she's happiest, and an apartment gives her plenty of room for tunnels and ball games. A home without dogs keeps that world calm and cosy.
She's highly intelligent, with a sensitive streak and a cheeky sense of fun. She suits an experienced cat guardian who reads her cues fluently and enjoys a girl who's playful, gentle and affectionate in equal measure.
Picture an evening at home. Molly Bear tearing through a tunnel, a ball skidding across the floor, then back beside you to nudge your hand for another nose pat.
Molly Bear is ready. The tunnels, the ball games, the nose pats and a guardian to share her cosy indoor world.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
