About Owen
Owen is a sweet, outgoing boy who is still very young at heart and loves spending quality time with his people. He enjoys attention, playing ball, and learning new things. Being food-motivated and eager to please, Owen responds well to training and would benefit from ongoing guidance and enrichment.
While prior dog experience would be an advantage, dedicated first-time owners will also be considered. Like many shelter dogs, Owen may need time to settle into his new home, so he is best suited to a family where someone is home more often during the adjustment period.
Owen is calm and polite in his interactions and is suitable for a home with children aged 8 years and older, pending a family meet. He may also enjoy the company of a compatible female dog, following a successful introduction.
To ensure his safety, Owen requires secure 5-foot solid fencing. With patience, consistency, and plenty of affection, Owen will make a loyal and loving companion for the right family.
