Hi my name is Vanelope, but everyone calls me Vani.

I've spent almost 7 weeks in foster care while recovering from a staph infection and now I'm eager to find myself a new home, just like my siblings before me have done.

Basically, I'm your typical puppy - I thrive with a good routine and training. I'm very smart and treat motivated so the training part should be relatively easy, it's just a matter of consistency.

So far I've learnt to sit and wait, walk nicely on a lead and come when I'm called (as long as there's no lizard chasing involved LOL). I am also toilet trained as long as I have access to outside.

I love squeaky toys (well, all toys really), and will happily squeak away for ages before hitting the zoomie button and then I’m off. I will take myself off for a nap when the day just gets too exhausting. I think a big yard would be top of my wish list as well as a social doggie companion to romp around with.

I also think I’m a lap dog (although my foster mum reckons not for much longer), and love a good long cuddle. I really am a sweetheart apparently.

Sometimes I get a little scared of new people from a distance, but once I meet them I immediately have a change of heart and want to be their best friend.
