Meet Eskel!
This little fighter grew up on the streets then was handed into the vet at 8 weeks old, after a person found him with an injured leg (there was no saving his leg). To save him from council euthanasia, the vets rung us. First thing in the morning his leg was amputated.
Despite his rather hectic entry to foster care, Eskel is resilient and determined. Less than 12 hours post surgery he escaped his recovery jail and was running around. He's adapted to three legs perfectly.
He is a sweet little kitten, enjoying being hand fed chicken, licking tube treats off his carer's finger, and loving having his nose rubbed. He is also quite playful, loving to bat around toys and climb little scratching posts. He is very active, which is normal for a kitten his age.
Eskel is great with the older cats, interacting with them through the walls of his (upgraded) baby jail enclosure and cuddling up to an older kitten. He is playful with a younger girl kitten added to his enclosure, but took a few days to adjust to sharing his space. During supervised time out of kitten jail, he loves to cuddle up to the older cats and be groomed. He loves being wit them.
He really benefits from cat company and needs a friend.
Because he was a stray who went through a big event, it can take him a little moment to warm up to new people. He will need someone willing to be patient and bond with him for a week to get his trust and experience the wonderful kitten Eskel is. He can be won over with tube treats and a calm environment. Once he trusts you he will love you with his whole heart.
Eskel has had one vaccination.
