About Zuko
Approx. 35kg
• Experienced handler required
• Time and leadership needed
• Extremely smart
• Needs to be in an only dog home
• Adult-only home
When Zuko first arrived at Save A Dog, he was enthusiastic but unruly — eager to please, yet unsure of what was expected of him, with very little prior exposure to other dogs. Since then, he has made remarkable progress and grown enormously in confidence and understanding, however he still needs to be the only dog in his home.
Zuko is now ready to move into a home of his own, but he will need an experienced adopter who is confident handling large, strong dogs and understands his temperament. While he has come a long way, he is still building confidence around other dogs and will need continued guidance and structure.
Zuko will thrive with someone who can spend plenty of time with him, further his training, and provide strong, consistent leadership. Once that bond is established, he becomes an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Zuko is best suited to an adult-only home.

Adoption details
Save-A-Dog Scheme operates as an adoption agency for our dogs and cats. We spend a substantial amount of time getting to know our animals and we try to match each animal's needs with the new home's needs. We don't work on the same principle as purchasing from a shop or on a 'first come first served' basis. When you visit us, you can be sure we'll do our best to work with you to help find the right companion animal for your home and lifestyle.
