About Effie Trinket
Meet Effie Trinket! A beautiful one-year-old female cat looking for a loving home where she can enjoy cuddles, playtime and plenty of conversation.
With her fabulous fluffy tail and chatty personality, Effie Trinket is a little character with plenty of charm.
Effie is a sweet girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people. But give her time to settle and you'll discover an affectionate, cuddly companion who loves spending time with her favourite human.
One of Effie's most adorable qualities is how talkative she is! She's constantly chirping and chatting away, having little conversations with her human throughout the day. If you're looking for a cat with personality who'll keep you company, Effie has plenty to offer.
At just one year old, Effie still has a wonderfully playful, kitten-like side. She loves her naps but will often reappear dragging a toy behind her, ready to play. Her absolute favourite is her mouse on a string, and she's always up for an interactive play session. Her dinnertime zoomies are particularly entertaining!
Effie has a lovely balance of affectionate companionship, independent downtime and playful energy.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Ace is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Effie is looking for a quieter, adult-only home, ideally with a single person or couple who would love an affectionate feline companion.
She can be cautious around unfamiliar people and isn't particularly comfortable with lots of visitors, so she'd be happiest in a calm household.
Her ideal adopter will understand that she'll need a few days to decompress and that she likes routine. Once Effie feels safe and secure, her cuddly, chatty and playful personality really comes to life.
If you're looking for a young, affectionate cat who enjoys human companionship, Effie could be your perfect match.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate. Effie enjoys a balance of naps, cuddles and playful bursts of energy. She loves interactive toys, especially her mouse on a string, and still gets her evening zoomies.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Adults only is preferred. Effie is best suited to a quiet, adult household where she can feel safe, secure and relaxed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats: Her life before foster care was around other cats so with suitable introductions we expect she'd be great with other cats. Dogs: unknown

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
