About Journey
Meet Journey – Your Little Love Bug! ❤️
Journey is a beautiful little love bug with a heart full of affection and a whole lot of love to give! She absolutely thrives on human connection, craves cuddles and attention, and will happily soak up all the love you have to offer.
She’s an eager learner who wants to please her people, making her a wonderful companion for someone willing to continue helping her grow and thrive. Journey is super friendly with children and people, and she has so much potential to become someone’s very best friend.
When it comes to other dogs, Journey can be a little selective. She came into foster care with four other dogs in the home and has had no issues living alongside them. However, she can show some reactivity when out on walks, so she’ll benefit from a patient, understanding owner who can help her build confidence and continue working on her walking manners.
Journey is looking for a home where she can feel safe, loved and included as part of the family. In return, you’ll get a devoted little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side and fill your days with affection.

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
