Mush

🐾💙 MEET MUSH - OUR HANDSOME LITTLE GRUMP FACE! 💙🐾

Those cheeks! Those eyes! That magnificent grumpy face! 😾 Meet Mush, our gorgeous 5-year-old blue and white British Shorthair boy who is hoping to find a quiet place to call home.

Now, before you judge our handsome lad by his grumpy expression, there's something you should know. Mush has been moved around from place to place, and understandably, he's feeling pretty stressed by all the changes. He's finding life at the shelter a little overwhelming, so he's keeping to himself while he tries to figure out what's going on.

Mush isn't the kind of cat who wants to be rushed into friendship. He needs a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space to settle in and let him make the first move. No forcing cuddles, no rushing introductions - just a peaceful home where he can finally exhale. ❤️

And here's where things get interesting! When Mush feels safe and relaxed, he'll start seeking out his calm humans for a few lovely pats. Bring out a Churu treat, and you might just find yourself with a new best friend! 😻 Beneath that grumpy exterior is a sweet boy who simply needs to feel secure enough to show it.

🏡 Mush's dream home:

A calm, quiet household with no children.
Patient humans who respect his boundaries and let him build trust at his own pace.
A strictly indoor lifestyle, as Mush has never lived outdoors.
Plenty of cosy hideaways, comfy beds and, of course, the occasional Churu treat!
British Shorthairs are often admired for their relaxed, easy-going nature, and we hope that once Mush feels settled, he'll be able to enjoy all the comforts of a peaceful home.

Give this boy the time he needs, and you may just discover your very own snuggle buddy hiding behind that famous grumpy face. 🥹💙

Can you help Mush find his smile again?

It is time for a fresh start, a safe home and someone who will love him just the way he is.

Come and meet Mush at Wat Djerring Animal Facility. His happily-ever-after could start with you! 🐾
