About Sally
Introducing Sally, the sweet and sensitive little lady, looking for a kind, caring and patient forever family.
Sally is super lovely and sweet, but is finding the shelter invrionment pretty scary, and finds unfamiliar people to be a little intimidating, so she'd prefer everyone in her new home to give plenty of space and patience to settle in and feel safe. She'll need a home with secondary school aged children or older, and will need to meet any kids living at home here at the shelter.
She has shown some interest in meeting other dogs in the shelter, so she might like living with another dog in her new home! If you already have a dog at home who might need a friend, bring them in to meet Sally to make sure everyone gets along.
Sally isn't super snuggly at the moment, as she's still finding people a little scary, so it's important that she can become comfortable with pats and handling in her own time, with some gentle encouragement from her humans, being sure not to push her past her comfort zone.
Although she finds people a little scary, Sally has built a lot on confidence since forst coming to the shelter, and has made friends with a few familiar people who have been working with her. So we know with time, patience and plenty of love, She'll become a sweet, confident family member in no time!
