Ready to meet the bestest boy on the Central Coast? That’s me! My name is Tanuki, I’m 2 years old, and I’m about as fluffy, loving and playful as they come!

I’ll be honest with you, though, when we first meet, I might be a little shy while I get used to my new surroundings. But give me a little time, a tasty treat and some gentle pats once I get to know you, and you’ll soon see the real me come out of my shell.

I absolutely LOVE wand toys! Give me something that moves and I’ll be off like The Flash to catch it. Playtime is one of my favourite things, especially when I get to show off my hunting skills. And did someone say food? I love food almost as much as I love my people, and that’s saying something!

I haven’t had the chance to meet any little humans that I know of just yet, but I think I could learn to live happily with respectful children! If your little ones understand that I prefer playing with wand toys rather than hands and are happy to give me the space I need while I settle in, I think we could become great friends.

When it comes to other cats, though, that’s one area where I need to be a little firm. Unfortunately, my play style and interactions with other cats can be a bit too rough, so I’d be happiest in a Only cat household. That way, I can enjoy all the love, attention and playtime with my humans without having to share my space with other cats.

So, if you’re looking for a fluffy, playful, food-loving boy who may need a little patience at first but has so much love to give once he trusts you, I might just be your guy!
