About Custard
Custard is a friendly boy who thinks everyone he meets is a potential best friend. He will actively seek you out for affection, and he’s happy to accept pats all over, including full body strokes. Expect plenty of headbutts and consistent kneading once he’s settled on your lap, which is his way of telling you that you’re doing a great job.
Custard is missing a leg, but you’d hardly know it from the way he gets around. He is playful and active, and he loves a game as much as a cuddle, so a few toys and some regular play time will keep him happy.
Because he found handling a little tricky in the past, Custard would suit a home with older, pet savvy kids who know how to read a cat’s body language and give him space when he needs it. A young child may find it hard to understand his limits, and he’d be more comfortable with gentle, calm company. He would also need to be the only cat in the household, as he doesn’t do well around other cats.
If you’re after an affectionate, entertaining companion who will follow you around for pats, Custard is ready to meet you.
