Sarge

Meet Sarge, a 1 year old little man ready to be your best friend and shadow around your home.

This handsome boy arrived at our shelter as a stray, and from day one he's been showing us what a lovely little character he is.

Sarge is a friendly, curious young cat who enjoys being around people. He'll happily approach with his tail held high, rub into your hand for pats and investigate whether you've brought anything tasty. He's quite the little smooch! Occasionally, he'll decide he's had enough handling and take a quick step back, but that doesn't mean the friendship is over. He simply likes having a little say in how the attention is delivered.

At only one year old, Sarge has plenty of life and personality ahead of him. He's already showing a lovely combination of affection, curiosity and a little independence, making him a wonderful choice for someone who enjoys a cat with character.

Sarge also has a condition called luxating patellas, which means his kneecaps can sometimes move out of their normal position. One of our vets will have a chat with his potential adopter before adoption to explain what this means and any care or monitoring he may need.

If you're looking for a friendly little gentleman who knows how to make you feel welcome, Sarge would be delighted to meet you. Treats are optional, but we're fairly sure he'd appreciate them!

We encourage you to come and meet Sarge at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
