About Alfie
Hi All, I'm Alfie. A spritely older gent who is looking forward to a quiet and happy retirement. I was taken by DCH under Duty of Care and have received the urgent treatment required to make me be able to smile and eat again.
I had a full dental on 19.10.26 and I feel much better after the remaining 16 teeth were removed. You don't have to worry about cleaning my teeth because there aren't any.
Accordingly, I enjoy a soft quality food diet. I love to go for car rides and I love going for walks. I like meeting new friends and smelling new aromas on my walks.
I am toilet trained, sleep well during the night and these days I usually eat a good sized meal mid afternoon, before another nap.
I enjoy taking myself through the garden and retiring to a sunny placed kennel until it's time to come inside to join my canine friends.
I am best suited to a home where someone is home most of the time. I don't really play with young children, I'm more attracted to adults. I'm a nice old chap, how about we meet sometime soon? The Vet said my heart is strong, and my bloodwork is excellent for my age. Now that my teeth are removed, well, I'm perfect!!
If you are interested in a meet and greet with our lovely Alfie, please contact his foster carer by email (preferred) and outline how you will care for him. Alfie needs indoor and outdoor access, a yard and a nice sheltered sunny spot to have a nap.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
