Mango - 10 Week Old Cattle Dog X Staffy

Are you looking for a companion who is as beautiful as she is gentle?
Meet Mango — a cute and curious Cattle dog X Staffy mix, white with an underlying blue cattle dog coat.

About Mango
Mango has a sweet, gentle nature that will quietly win your heart. She can be a little shy and timid when first meeting new people or experiencing new situations, preferring to take a moment to cautiously observe. Once she feels safe, though, she blossoms into an affectionate, enthusiastic cuddle-bug who loves snuggling up on lazy days. But as all puppies she gets excited when other people are around. Still very mouthy and will use her mouth when playing with people.

Temperament: • Affectionate • Intelligent • Loyal • Independent • Active

She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and has learnt to use a doggie door (though she still needs help remembering toilet breaks).

A Loyal Soul
Mango is looking for her person — someone she can form a deep bond with. She has a strong desire to connect and will be a devoted, loyal companion.

Her Ideal Home
Mango will thrive in a loving home that can help her build confidence as she grows. Her future family should enjoy an active lifestyle — as she matures, she’ll love walks, hikes, and mental challenges to keep that clever Cattle dog brain busy.
She has been socialised with another puppy and is learning good canine manners. She also has a 10-year-old human friend, and they play beautifully together — ball games and chase are favourites.

If there is no other dog in the home, someone must be around during the day (not full-time away from home). She can be left for short periods of about 3 hrs in her crate.

 The Important Stuff
• Will grow to be a medium-size dog
• Suitable for children 8 years and older
• Needs secure fencing (no rural mesh or wire fencing)
• Must be welcome inside when people are home and sleep inside until fully grown
• Puppy training classes are strongly recommended

Mango’s siblings — Bluey, Bingo and Dotty — are also available for adoption.
Mango is ready to trade her shy retreats for a lifetime of love and devotion. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion to grow with your family, she might just be your perfect match.

Mango’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Mango is in foster care in Umina Beach, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook ) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
