About Beau
Meet Beau, a young dog who needs a little time to warm up to new faces. Once he knows you, you'll discover a sweet and loyal friend hidden beneath his shy exterior.
Beau understands basic commands and is toilet trained. He'll thrive on lots of playtime and engagement with his people.
Beau does need a yard that is safe and secure. He can be quite vocal when spending time out in the yard alone.
Beau is polite with other dogs, though if another dog is behaving a bit too wildly, Beau will let them know with a gentle correction.
This sweet boy needs an experienced owner willing to strengthen good behaviors and gently push him to new adventures. With your guidance and care, Beau will become a devoted companion who adds joy to your life every day.

Medical notes
Grade 1 luxating patellas of both hindlegs, future care recommendations include;
- Maintenance of healthy bodyweight is essential, he is NOT to become overweight
- Daily joint support supplements
- Surgical correction is an option
There is potential to develop stifle arthritis later in life.
Umbilical hernia also noted.
Adoption details
We run by appointment, preferably all members of the household to come meet the animal you are wanting to adopt.
If you own another dog, you must bring them along to make sure all dogs get along.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

Sat- 9am-12:30pm - Dogs Only
Sun- CLOSED
