About Wednesday
Wednesday is the kind of cat who knows exactly what she likes and isn't afraid to set the pace. At six years old, this beautiful black-and-white lady has perfected the art of balancing independence with affection, creating a companionship that feels all the more meaningful because it's always on her terms.
Happy to spend time exploring her surroundings or enjoying a peaceful nap in a sunny spot, Wednesday appreciates a home that respects her relaxed approach to life. She'll let you know when she's ready for attention, and more often than not, you'll find her seeking out gentle pats, cosy company, and a place beside her favourite people.
There's something truly special about earning Wednesday's affection. One moment you're going about your day, and the next, a little black-and-white shadow has appeared at your side, curling up next to you as if she's been there all along. It's these quiet moments of connection that make sharing your life with her such a joy.
Wednesday is looking for a home where she can be loved for exactly who she is: independent, affectionate, and wonderfully self-assured. In return, she'll provide companionship, comfort, and plenty of heartwarming visits whenever she decides it's cuddle time.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
