About Luna
Luna is a beautiful, high energy, 5 year old Siberian Husky with one blue eye and one brown eye, typical of her breed.
Luna joined Tiki after spending time at the local pound. Luna has settled into foster care quickly, living with another senior dog. Luna enjoys walks with her carers and is playful, taking time to socialise with people and other dogs on her walks. Luna especially loves puddles and rolling in the wet grass.
Luna likes to know where you are but settles outside when left home alone and is learning that it is ok to relax and switch off at night. Luna is starting to take an interest in toys and will benefit from a household that encourages her to develop this interest at her own pace.
Luna requires a patient approach to her weekly grooming needs, to keep her amazing coat in tip top condition. Luna deserves a household that takes an interest in understanding her breed and ensuring she lives her best life.
Luna would thrive in an active household that enjoys spending time outdoors with her and has someone home most of the time. A commitment to her grooming needs is essential. A household with dog savvy older children or other dogs will be considered. Luna has not been tested with cats or pocket pets and we don’t think this would be a good match for Luna.

If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
