Marley

Meet Marley: Your New Adventure Buddy (Batteries Not Included, She Doesn't Need Them)

Hi! I'm Marley, a 6-month-old red heeler with a coat the colour of a Tassie sunset and an engine that never seems to switch off. If you've been looking for a dog who'll say "yes!" to every walk, run, hike, farm job or game of fetch, then congratulations, you've found her.

All about me:
Age: 6 months young, and growing into my ears
Breed: Red heeler (Australian cattle dog), bred to work and proud of it
Energy level: Yes
Favourite things: Zoomies, chasing anything that moves, learning new tricks, and being right at my person's side
Least favourite things: Sitting still, boredom, and being told the walk is over

What I'm like:
I'm smart. Really smart. I pick things up fast, which is great when you're teaching me "sit" and slightly less great when I've figured out how the gate latch works. I'm happiest when I've got a job to do, whether that's herding, agility, running alongside your bike, or carrying the very important stick home. I'm full of life, full of love and full of ideas about how we could spend the afternoon.

My dream home:
I'm looking for a high-energy or working home where I can really live my best life. Think farm, active family, trail runner, or someone keen to try dog sports. I need plenty of exercise, a good amount of brain games, and a human who loves training as much as I love learning. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, because when I'm curious I'm very curious.

What I'm not looking for:
A quiet couch life, long days home alone, or someone hoping I'll grow out of my energy. (I won't. That's the fun part.)

In return, I promise:
Loyalty for life, a training partner who never skips leg day, and a best mate who will follow you everywhere, including the bathroom.
If you're ready for a whirlwind of red fur and good vibes, come meet me! I'll be the one doing laps around the yard.

Marley is currently in foster care.
