About Buttercup
Buttercup might have started life in a pound, but this little lady is ready to make up for lost time, one adventure at a time!
Born and raised in a pound environment, Buttercup hasn't had the typical puppy start. But since joining foster care, she's been showing off her lovely confidence, independent spirit and surprisingly chilled-out approach to life!
She's a big fan of playing with her foster sister, but she's also perfectly happy entertaining herself with toys. She's been exploring shops, enjoying little walks and meeting new people and friendly dogs with a calm, curious attitude. She's even making a great start with toilet training and happily puts herself to bed in her crate. What a clever little cookie!
But there's an important chapter in Buttercup's story that her future family will need to help write.
Having missed out on many early life experiences, Buttercup needs a family who is genuinely committed to ongoing, positive socialisation. She'll need patient humans who will continue introducing her to the world at her own pace, building her confidence through gentle exposure, reward-based training and plenty of positive experiences.
And remember, she's still a puppy! The teenage rebellion, questionable chewing decisions and occasional chaos may still be waiting around the corner.
Buttercup has made a beautiful start, but now she needs someone ready to help her keep blooming. Could that be you? 🌼
