About Willie
💙 WILLIE — A CHEEKY LITTLE JACK RUSSELL WITH A BIG PERSONALITY!
DOB: 6 April 2024
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Sex: Male
Weight: 4.8 kg
Size: Small
🐾 MEET WILLIE
Meet Willie, a handsome little Jack Russell with pointy ears, a cheeky personality and all the charm you'd expect from a proper little terrier!
At just two and a half years old, Willie is a lively, intelligent and entertaining little fellow who is looking for a family to call his own.
❤️ A FRIENDLY LITTLE CHARACTER
Willie loves people of all ages and is always delighted to have some attention. He can be a little jumpy when excited, but that's just Willie's enthusiasm getting the better of him!
He's a clever boy who knows his basic obedience commands — although, being a Jack Russell, he occasionally likes to decide whether following them is worth his while.
He enjoys his walks and is quite good on the lead once his initial excitement has worn off.
🐶 LIVING WITH OTHER DOGS
Willie gets along with other dogs following careful introductions, although he'd prefer a home without too many large canine companions. The big dogs in his foster home are just a bit too big for his liking.
He guards his food around other dogs, so separate feeding and sensible management will be important.
Willie had had no direct exposure to cats since being in care.
🏡 WILLIE'S IDEAL HOME
Willie needs a family who understands the wonderfully spirited nature of Jack Russell Terriers.
He's also something of an escape artist! This clever little Houdini will need very secure fencing, with no tempting gaps or opportunities to explore the neighbourhood unsupervised.
An active home with plenty of companionship, walks, playtime and mental stimulation would suit him beautifully.
💙 A LITTLE DOG WITH LOTS TO OFFER
Willie is a delightful mixture of affection, intelligence, mischief and determination.
He's not a dog who will sit quietly in the corner and go unnoticed. He's a little character who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes and bring plenty of personality into your life.
If you love Jack Russells and everything that makes them such entertaining companions, Willie might just be your perfect little mate!
